I love that, especially having been a CSA member for more than 15 years and trying every which way to make chard-except this, which is lovely and perfect and very welcome. Only this morning I threw a HUGE batch of chard into a pot of vegetable broth. What the heck, right? Another pick-up tomorrow and I now know just what to do with that chard. Thanks again.Marionhttp://thesisterproject.com/roach/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978824923189305231.post-11543506127537058172009-09-06T19:45:12.262-06:002009-09-06T19:45:12.262-06:00Cheryl, your directions are great. I'll remain stumped as to why so many people who could grow lovely fruit & veg in their backyards don't - but if one cannot, CSA's are a fantastic resource.Kevin Kossowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00162563717624538222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978824923189305231.post-31018314704763415212009-09-03T22:53:51.857-06:002009-09-03T22:53:51.857-06:00Thanks for posting your thoughts about being a CSA...Thanks for posting your thoughts about being a CSA newbie. Thanks for all your locavore commentary. I'm not nearly as far along as you, but you've inspire me to think more about it and make changes, ever so slowly. And those crispy cheesy chard things look awesome - I think I'll have to try them! Maybe I'll see if I can get into a CSA around here next year. I don't think I could handle lots of swiss chard though. I wish I loved greens more but since daycare (when I used to lie to the cook and tell her I was allergic to spinach so I didn't have to eat it), I just can't tolerate it. Thats so great you cook such diverse and healthy foods for your family!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13735561671671368628noreply@blogger.com
